Who we are

Information you type into our tools

• The calculators, the Card Finder and the Money Leak Audit calculate your result in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to CreditBharosa’s servers, and they are not sent to Google Analytics.
• The site has no accounts, sign-ups or newsletter, and no form on the site asks for your name, email address or phone number.
• The site’s own code does not save anything in your browser’s local or session storage.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 on every page to understand how the site is used. It collects usage information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and how you interact with the site — for example, which tool you used, which cards you viewed or compared, which filters you applied, and clicks through to a card issuer’s website. For the tools, only the fact that a tool was used is recorded, not the figures you entered.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_NH3J2R3GQG. See cookies for how to block or delete them.

Other services your browser connects to

• Google Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google’s font servers, which receive your IP address and browser details when the fonts load.
• Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel. As with any website, your browser’s requests, including your IP address, browser details and the page requested, reach the hosting provider’s servers, which may keep records of those requests.
• TradingView. The home page has a small “Markets Today” panel supplied by TradingView. It loads when you scroll near it. When it loads, your browser connects to TradingView’s servers, which receive your IP address, browser details and the address of the page you are on, and TradingView may use cookies or similar storage of its own. We do not send it anything you type into our tools. TradingView’s own privacy policy applies to what it receives.

Google, Vercel and TradingView operate internationally, so information they receive may be processed outside India.

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it to reply to you.

Links to other websites

Links to banks, card issuers, regulators and our YouTube and Instagram pages take you to other websites. Their own privacy policies apply there.
