Corrections policy

We will get things wrong. This page explains what happens when we do.

How to report an error

Email corrections@creditbharosa.com with the page, the specific claim, and where the correct information can be verified. We aim to acknowledge within two working days.

What we do

Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. Where the error was material — a fee, a cap, an eligibility condition or anything that could change a reader's decision — a dated correction note is added to the page stating what was wrong and what it now says.

We do not silently edit a page to hide a material error. The correction note stays.

Where the issuer has changed the terms

That is an update rather than a correction. The date shown against that product changes and, where the change matters, a dated update note is added to the page.

Corrections log. Every material correction is listed here with its date. The log starts with this version of the policy.

4 October 2026. Best credit cards for a ₹50,000 salary and Credit cards: we removed the statement that card eligibility was shown exactly as each issuer publishes it. For two cards the income figure came from third-party sources. On the same guide and in its summary on Learn, we removed the word "verified" from the description of the card fees and cards, because card details on this site have not yet been independently verified. We also removed the income figure for HSBC RuPay Platinum (previously shown as about ₹4 lakh a year, from third-party sources) while we re-check it against HSBC's own page.
